Signal box work continues at Chinnor, May 2009
Work to commission locking equipment for Chinnor Station crossing gates and
two additional signals was completed in April. We are now catching up with
some of the maintenance work outstanding on the existing kit and recovering
some redundant items, and expanding the telephone system. Larger projects
for the next few months include preparing to erect a bracket signal and
re-engineering the operating equipment and shunt signals at the end of
Chinnor loop.
